Diana Y Carlos A Subasta

A collection of 12 unpublished behind the scenes photographs from the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles are set to sell for *** when they go under the hammer. The pictures were taken at their reception at Buckingham Palace on July 29 1981 after their wedding ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral. They originate from the collection of a an assistant to photographer Patrick Lichfield and include seven black and white pictures and five color, as well as the assistant's access pass to the palace. Six of the larger photos depict Princess Diana wearing her gorgeous wedding dress with members of her family and wedding party, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Princess Ann, Princess Margaret, and Prince Andrew. Three show Princess Diana holding the five-year-old Clementine Hambro, her youngest bridesmaid; one shows her setting Clementine down; and another shows her smiling as Prince Andrew leans over to talk to Clementine. Queen Elizabeth is clearly visible walking alongside Princess Diana in four of the images, and the Queen Mother is seen in two. Prince Charles is also in two of these photographs. The last of the photos is the most striking of all, depicting Princess Diana and Prince Charles from behind on the famous balcony overlooking the massive crowds gathered on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. The lot will be sold by RR Auction in Cambridge, MA, on September 24 2015.

Se subasta una colección única de catorce fotografías inéditas, que revelan el quehacer previo, durante y después de la boda de la princesa Diana y el príncipe Carlos, que tuvo lugar en el Palacio de Buckingham el 29 de julio de 1981, después de la ceremonia en la Catedral de St. Paul.

diana4Las fotos son parte de aquellas imágenes que no terminaron siendo parte del álbum de bodas de la pareja real y fueron entregadas a su fotógrafo Patrick Lichfield. Las mismas  salen al mercado gracias a  uno de los asistentes de Lichfield que era pariente de la familia real. La colección se compone de siete fotos en blanco y negro, en papel  brillante 10 x 8 fotos, siete fotos a color en papel satinado,  7 x 5 fotos, y el carnet utilizado por el ayudante de Lichfield para tener acceso al palacio.

Seis de las imágenes más grandes representan a la princesa Diana vestida en su traje de novia, con miembros de su familia y consortes de la boda, incluyendo la reina Isabel, el príncipe Carlos, la princesa Ana, la princesa Margarita y el príncipe Andrés. Otras tres fotos muestran a la princesa Diana durante la a celebración, con una de sus damas la niña Clementine Hambro , su dama de honor más joven. Hay una foto que muestra su sonrisa junto al  príncipe Andrés y se inclina para hablar con Clementine.

10628842-1Una interesante foto capta a la Reina Isabel claramente visible mientras camina junto a la princesa Diana. El Príncipe Carlos aparece  en dos de estas fotografías. Una de las fotos  10 x 8 fotos y muestra a la princesa Diana y el príncipe Carlos en el famoso balcón con vistas a las multitudes que se reunieron en la plaza en frente del Palacio de Buckingham .
